The second half of 2020 is vanishing at a ferocious pace. The first three weeks of July dragged, but since I’ve arrived back in Australia, the time has disappeared. It was August last week right? As we enter week 44 of 2020, I know I need to start thinking about Christmas and next year!
Week 44 Bullet Journal Spread
As we’re in the last month of October, it was time to bring out one of my favourites! I adore this layout because it offers enough space for everything I need, and enough space around the page that it doesn’t appear cramped.
Of course, as this is the last week of October, this is also the swan song for my ladybird theme. It’s a theme I’ve enjoyed, as it’s offered consistency throughout the month and has encouraged me to use some of my washi tapes! I’ve found the colour scheme really fresh and upbeat, which I’ve found this year helps my mood.
As per usual, I’ve included a little clue on November’s mini-calendar as to what next month’s theme will be. But to see more, you’ll have to come back later this week and check out my November Setup post!
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I’d like to try some new setups for my weekly logs. So far I haven’t delivered, but I’m hoping to change that in November. That means if you have any excellent weekly layouts you’d recommend, please let me know! It’s tricky to find good setups that include room for a mini calendar, to-do list and the next week!
Personal Update
As I spoke about at the start of this post, with week 44 of 2020 heralding in November, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas!! I’m not someone who goes overboard over the festive season. When Christmas stock started appearing in shops last month, I was quite annoyed about it. We all know Christmas is in December; please don’t start trying to feed us mince pies in September!
Although I prefer not to be subjected to Christmas songs until December, having time to plan is important. Organising presents this year will be trickier, so I really need to get sorted this month. I plan to shift my Christmas planning to my Bullet Journal- and then share with you what I’m doing.
Christmas 2020 may not be what we’re used to; but that doesn’t mean we can’t still make it special!
That’s all from me today. I hope you’ve enjoyed my musings and please do drop me a line in the comments if you have any weekly layouts you’d like to share! All the best, and I hope you have a lovely week! 😊
Great post! For Christmas this year I think I’ll just be baking treats to give to nearby family so I’ll have to start planning my “baking week” soon! Have an amazing rest of the week xo
Baked goodies as Christmas presents is such a great idea! I’ve done gingerbread a few times. Everyone likes baked goods and if you’re making them yourself people appreciate the effort ☺️ thanks for dropping by x
I tried my hand at a bullet journal but I can’t draw so my pages were so dull. Your layout is so pretty!
Thanks! You don’t have to draw to have a great bullet journal though ☺️ my first journals were straight lines only- but I added some colour by using different pens and stickers before getting more adventurous☺️ there’s a lot of pressure to have a picture perfect bullet journal, but at the end of the day it’s down to whatever works for you! Thanks for commenting!
