Week 42. That means we’re only ten weeks from the end of the madness that has been 2020! While the problems of this year won’t magically end on the first of January, a new year can be used as an effective reset for priorities and goals. This is particularly useful after a period that has brought a myriad of changes to our lives. As I enter week 42 of 2020, I’m looking forward to getting back into a work routine. I also will have to see how I adjust, as it’s been months since I worked away from home!
Week 42 2020 Bullet Journal Spread
After procrastinating since June, when I set up this Bullet Journal, I’ve finally completed a spread of my favourite weekly setups. While I normally refer back to previous months for my layouts, I wanted somewhere else to record them. While I set aside space when setting up this new journal, it’s been sitting there blank, staring at me!
If you’ve been following these weekly spread posts, you’ll be familiar with my favourite layouts. If not, a quick scroll through my Instagram will familiarise you. I currently have five layouts on rotation, and while that works very well, I have space for eight favourite layouts! That means I’m going to have to try some new ideas out!
As you can see from the picture above, this week is not one for experimenting, but keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks for some fresh new layout ideas. For now though, enjoy one of my old favourites, dressed up with this month’s lovely theme.
Weekly Update
As I spoke about earlier, this week is a big one for me as I’m working! It’s only for a week (for now) but after a couple of months of job applications, it’s a fantastic opportunity. Because I’ll be working for the first time since I started this blog, I’ve spent the last week getting organised.
I aim to keep up this blog while working, so I’ve started timing myself. I don’t want to spend more time now than I could afford while working. That means timing myself now, so later on I know how long tasks take.
The goal is to make this blog self-sufficient, but not at the cost of all my leisure time. Which means I have to get organised! It’s going to be a challenge, but I’m up for that. The trick will be finding the happy medium of quality content and production time.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to strike that balance! For now, I’ll wish you a good week and all the best in your endeavours. Stay safe!
Love this so much- it looks so good! <3
Thanks ☺️ really happy with how well this theme has turned out!
This is a lovely October spread! So pretty!

I’m in exactly the same position that I’ve got a few down days before starting a new job and am desperately trying to get things organised and sorted so that I can keep the momentum going. Good luck!
It can be a tricky balancing act! I think anyone who can run a fully profitable blog and still work have amazing juggling skills! Good luck with your new job and blog!
This looks great! And wishing you all the best as you sort out your new schedule. 🙂
Thanks ☺️ and yeah; me too! Figuring out a new routine is always takes a bit of guesswork so we shall see! Thanks for commenting ☺️
